When visiting Paxos, a must-see is Erimitis Beach, known for its spectacular views of the deep blue sea and Corfu Island on the horizon.
Did you know this beach didn’t exist until 2007? A partial cliff collapsed that year creating this stunning sunset spot! Erimitis is framed by high white cliffs, with pebbles and large stones both on the shore and underwater. The sea here is deep and often windy, so extra caution is advised if visiting with children.
Along with Plani Beach, Erimitis is one of only two beaches on Paxos’s west coast that can be accessed by car, followed by a short walk.
However, the best and easiest way to reach it is by boat.
