In case of receiving a sea urchin wound, do not try to use tweezers or other object to pull the stings out as they break off, you could easily cover the wounded area with oil and let the sting come off on their own or with the help of a needle. Attention! If a sensitive area is wounded it must be checked by a doctor.

JELLY FISH

In case of getting stung by jellyfish or anemone, although it is painful, there are no serious effects, the intense pain and the redness from the tentacles could be relieved with the use of ammonia or a cortisone cream.

ATTENTION: There’s been a very high concentration of jelly fish the last years in the Ionian sea.
